Lindsay Grider

Lindsay Grider is the owner of The Marquee at New Town. She possesses over 20 years of business experience in project management, providing her with the organizational and logistical skills essential for overseeing events at the venue. Lindsay is dedicated to ensuring that every event hosted at The Marquee is meticulously planned and executed to perfection.

Tom Martin

Tom Martin is also an owner and consultant of The Marquee at New Town. With more than 30 years of experience as a professional DJ, Tom's expertise extends beyond music and entertainment. He has a passion for being a crucial part of the wedding’s success. He prides himself on helping to keep the entire wedding day “on schedule”.  Tom is also an electrician and a handyman, capable of overseeing building maintenance, ensuring that the venue operates seamlessly. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business.

We aim to host a diverse range of events, from weddings to trivia nights, music bingo, and fundraisers, catering to a broad spectrum of interests and age groups. We are committed to offering extraordinary experiences that go beyond the ordinary, with a strong emphasis on fostering a sense of community and celebration. Our ultimate goal is to be a place where dreams are realized, creativity thrives, and where the extraordinary is made accessible. Tom's background, influenced by his mother's career as a wedding planner and his daughter's 10+ years as a wedding photographer, reflects the family's rich history in the field. This shared enthusiasm for music, dance, marriage, and community has driven their vision to establish The Marquee at New Town, a business that allows them to pursue their dreams and create lasting experiences. Tom and Lindsay also met in New Town and plan to have their wedding reception at the Marquee at New Town.
